How much do I love this book cover?

After much back and forth, this little gem is out for the world to see. Did I tell you about the “dead dandelion” book cover that was pitched to me? Let’s say that the imagery for midlife women’s books is not the most inspiring I’ve ever seen. I wanted something bright, vivid, and active like the women I know. My hope is that the cover grabs the reader’s attention and makes them pick it up and go “hmmmm….”

Book Updates: I submitted those pesky chapter PDFs thinking it was the final round of edits. Then more edits were sent to me about a few minor internal details and the back cover summary. Just when you think it’s done, it’s not done. However, I will give a huge shoutout to the team at Rowman & Littlefield/Bloomsbury for their attention to detail. It’s been a very educational experience compared to a book I published with a competing house a decade ago.
